Made from vintage hand stitched kantha quilts. The fabric is cosy and soft, some have signs of wear with small patches which actually add character to the cover. Each one is unique even though they are made from the same kantha quilt.
Kantha is the name given to the way the quilts are created and also the small stitches. The numerous layers of cotton or silk are hand stitched in this traditional bengal style known as kantha.
