Tapestry with Fatima’s hand in dark red and gold.
– Fatima’s hand is also called Hamsa (Arabic “five”) and is a cultural symbol that wards off the jinn and the evil eye
Wallhanging with the hand of Fatima in noble gold color on fabric in dark red.
Size: Approx. 230×210 cm
Material: 100% Baumwolle
Coloring
Gold symbolizes clarity, vitality and inspiration. The color is said to increase self-esteem and help with fear and insecurities. In esotericism, gold also symbolizes the highest point of spiritual development. No less is it owed to its value for exclusivity and wealth.
Symbolism
The wall hanging shows the hand of Fatima, the hand symbol with the all-seeing eye in the palm of the hand – known as “Fatima’s hand”.
The stylized representation of Fatima’s hand is symmetrical, the thumb and little finger are the same size and point outwards.
The protective symbol is surrounded by a pattern of oriental elements. You can see flowers and geometric figures. Leaves and tendrils form the edge, which frame the holy hand.
Spatial effect
Shiny gold paint on fabric in dark red gives the tangled pattern a strong contrast and the filigree elements stand out more clearly. The gold color used for the Karmandala tapestries shimmers like real gold, depending on the angle of incidence of the light.
A tapestry with only one basic color and gold painting as a wall decoration forms an exclusive focal point in every room. Whether living room, bedroom or kitchen, the gold wall cloth with Fatima’s hand refines the room without showing off and bragging.
Care instructions:
We recommend dry cleaning, as the gold-colored print can dissolve in water. If the tapestry has a smell of its own that you don’t like, we recommend spraying it with a water-vinegar mixture from an atomizer and letting it dry in the open air.
Vinegar binds odors and also softens the tissue. This gives the tapestry a fresh, bright color and a neutral smell
Indian mandala bedspread with a color gradient from a light to a strong orange on a background in natural white.
The traditional Ombre Mandala has been modified for this design. Instead of the usual stamp print on the edge, the mandala is framed by oriental ornaments in the four corners of the bedspread. This gives the pattern lightness and puts the mandala even more in focus.
The fabric of the bedspread is particularly thick and significantly heavier than usual. The material is not comparable to that of our wall cloths. Of course, this variant is just as suitable as a wall hanging, but is preferred as a bedspread and bed cover due to the robust material.
Likewise, the large mandala ceiling has knotted decorative fringes on two sides, which additionally decorate the piece of furniture, whether bed or sofa.
The Mandala bedspread is also significantly larger than our wall cloths: The dimensions of the throw are about 220×240 cm, plus the attached fringes! So a huge blanket to cover even the largest double bed. Alternatively, it also offers space for 3-4 people as a seating area in the park to stretch out comfortably.
Note: Since these mandala bedspreads are a model test of ours and the production has been changed accordingly, some specimens unfortunately have a slightly warped pressure in the middle range. Due to the fact that these ceilings are significantly larger than our regular wall cloths, it was correspondingly challenging for our producers.
Nevertheless, we hope that you like these bedspreads as much as we do.
Colour scheme
The background of the cloth is natural white. The mandala is in light and dark orange tones.
Orange
On the outer edge of the mandala, the orange is particularly dark. From the top and bottom, lighter orange tones dip into the middle of the mandala and ensure a pleasant color gradient.
White
The background of the mandala bedspread is natural white. The fabric was not bleached but left in the natural shade of spun cotton. This gives the fabric a more robust, muted and warm character.
